SSRA Referees,

I hope this email finds you healthy and safe. I wanted to wish you all a happy holiday season. As you may have already heard there were some updates released by OSAA about our new start date for the High School Soccer season. We are now looking to start games on March 1, 2021, and will go on for 6 weeks. This all can change and if it does we will keep you informed.

We want to communicate with you that SSRA has some dates for training as you will see below. I want to state however if you do not feel comfortable registering this season to do matches, it is completely understandable and respected if you choose not to officiate in this session. If you are interested here are some important dates and requirements for the upcoming season. We will be attempting a hybrid version that will be open to some in-person training but we will also have VIRTUAL components to our meetings and training. We will be using the ZOOM platform for meetings. I will send invites as the dates get closer.

Training Dates:

THURSDAY     February 4, 2021    All MEMBER MTG       6:30pm           Virtual

SUNDAY         February 7, 2021    Rookie Meeting         3pm to 6pm     Virtual/hybrid

SUNDAY         February 7, 2021    ALL MEMBER MTG     6pm to 9pm     Virtual/hybrid

Please look to register on OSAA.org/officials as soon as you are able to. This will help in planning to see how many officials we will have to work with. We will have games and we will work to provide a safe playing environment. I can let you know SSRA has masks on order with our logo that we will be distributed to help us all do our part to safely get these matches completed.
